Continuing its freefall, Gold price hit a 19-month low on Thursday as it became cheaper by Rs 500 per tola compared to the previous day in Nepal.
According to Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers' Association (Fenegosida), the hallmark gold was traded at Rs 49,100 per tola while Tejabi gold at Rs 48,850 per tola and silver at Rs 665.
The association said that the fall of stronger dollar and cut in gold demand resulted in the curtailing of the bullion price.
The gold price fell down with the rise in American economy after the United States Federal Reserve Bank held back on its programme of buying debenture bonds completely.
Likewise, the silver price has also hit the four-year low with the fall in price in the international market.
