KATHMANDU: Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) will organise the 19th edition of CAN InfoTech from February 6 in the capital.

The six-day long Midas CAN InfoTech 2013 is aimed at informing Information Communication and Technology (ICT) users about the latest technology,

said general secretary of Computer Association of Nepal Amrit Kumar Panta.

The technology exhibition will also provide suppliers and consumers an opportunity to interact, Panta said, informing that the exhibition will have a total of 220 stalls including 40 stalls in the main branding pavilion, 144 stalls in an open space, 14 stalls in wall and 15 food stalls. “The InfoTech will be a fusion of hardware and software.”

According to Panta, the entry fee has been fixed at Rs 100 for the general public and Rs 50 for students.

Meanwhile, the 13th edition of the ICT conference

will also be held on February 8-9, with the theme

‘Promoting e-democracy in Nepal’, on the occasion,

the organisers informed.
